Dog, Dog, Dog

For the past couple of weeks, Ella has woken up signing and saying dog, dog, dog (Ella speak is "da, da, da") ... looking out the window and signing dog... so we have been going quite regularly to PetSmart to watch the dogs in doggy daycare play...and finding good dog videos on youtube... here's some pics while she was watching some videos...

Thoroughly enamored...

So excited... bouncing up and down too (hence the blurriness)
I caught momma taking pictures... "cheese"
"Oh, momma, I love watching the doggies"...
(p.s. a good picture of her latest "teeth tally"... 5)

Ella's First Valentines

Ella and I came home on Valentines after errands ... to a fun surprise from Jim... flowers for each of us and a huge balloon for Ella...

Ella has been in heaven for nearly two weeks with the balloon to play with...

Thanks daddy!

Happy Girl

Ella's personality is really coming through - she loves people and animals, especially dogs, and she loves music and to dance...and she continues to love her Baby Signing Time ... she is learning lots of signs... so far, dog, more, all done, cracker, banana, dad, hat, hurray, touchdown, ball, and working on please, thank you, sleep, shoes, socks and more...

Here's a few fun pics ...

I am having fun climbing on daddy to get to a toy...(also look at my hair growing with some fun curls on the side)
Oh, yeah... I got daddy pinned down ... piece of cake :).
I am so excited to be mobile... give me a piece of furniture to hold onto and off I go...
My "blue steel" impression... really just my "cheese" smile when momma brings out the camera...
more mobile moves :)...

Simple Fun

Now that Ella has dropped her third daily nap, I have been trying to come up with new things for her to explore :)....

So, enter the laundry basket - I usually would carry her in it upstairs with the clothes and then push around from room to room to put it away. Then, one day after finishing she got a little ride with just her getting pushed back and forth down the hall...now she is hooked... every time she sees the laundry basket now, she has to get in it for a ride... so, now we have one upstairs permanently and parked out of sight :)... Jim made an improvement after this pic and added a belt (so much easier on our backs)... now the laundry wagon :)... sometimes she is brave enough to let go and sign "more" as we slow down to turn around...

Go..momma... go

oh this is so much fun...
This is my "flirty face" squinting my eyes and smiling at you :)...
Next - I pulled out the tupperware and filled them with water with the intent to teach her how to transfer water from tupperware to tupperware using her little cups that she loves...

Well... good intentions :)... as soon as she saw the water she wanted to drink out of them like a cup and ended up dumping them all out right away... but then had fun banging them together and stacking them together...
